Leadership in Uncertain Times
Exploring the Mystery of Christ in the Mystery of Leadership
Presented by the leadership team for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia, Kansas
A seven-day experience for leaders in religious communities or candidates for leadership in which we explore together the mysticism of leadership for Christian communities consecrated and dedicated to the following of Christ.
Each day, we will address one of the mysteries of leadership, contemplate it individually and together, explore our role in it and how it calls and leads us into deeper relationship with God/Jesus/Christ and our community and our world/earth.
The retreat offers private contemplative time, solitude, contemplative conversation, input opportunity for personal deepening in the inner life, experiences of our contemporary milieu – and more contemplative time.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES: Life after Elected Leadership
Facilitators: Bette Moslander, CSJ and Marcia Allen, CSJ
Are you an elected leader in a community of religious women who is leaving office in 6 to 18 months? Or perhaps you left office within the past one or two years and are still in transition. In either case, you find yourself in a process of discernment about the next step in your life. Are you confused by too many options or perhaps nothing attracts you? Are you concerned that you may make too hasty a decision about your post-leadership years? This mini-retreat is an opportunity to begin to integrate the demanding and sometimes stressful and hectic years of leadership, to discern prayerfully where you want to go and what you want to do next.
